UPDATE March 2020: During the current climate, I am continuing with one-to-one sessions for as long as this is possible, where appropriate.
If we have an appointment booked, please ensure that you and everyone in the household are symptom-free. We will remain 2 metres apart during the consultation and may work outside where possible.
I will use hand gel before coming into your home and I would cancel should I show any signs of symptoms before arriving.
I am also looking into the possibility of virtual training sessions – watch this space for more details.
I will follow current guidelines and will monitor the situation constantly. My aim, as always, is to give you the best service possible.
One to One Training
Individual training lessons can be arranged. These are sometimes more beneficial if there is a specific difficulty, such as pulling on the lead, whereas the courses provide a broader general education. One to one training sessions would normally take place in your own home or at a pre-arranged place, such as a local park etc. These sessions can be a single lesson, a series of lessons or in conjunction with the training classes.
We also offer a set of three one to one lessons, normally at weekly intervals. This gives more flexibility to cover issues and means that we can progress each week. Originally aimed for owners who wanted classes but were unable to attend for any reason, the set of three lessons means that sessions can be in the home, outdoors, or a combination of the two. However, we soon found that owners and dogs needs were more varied so the set of three lessons mean that we have the flexibility to accommodate this.
Each summer we hold some courses and classes, ranging from fun days, to workshops on specific issues, such as coming when called or manners with people and dogs, to fun and games sessions. Keep an eye on the website for more details.
One-to-one training – £70 per session of up to one and a half hours plus mileage if appropriate.
Set of three one-to-one lessons – £130 for three sessions of approximately one hour each, plus mileage if appropriate.
